1. PURPOSE
The Misticalkai Studios Open Source License (MSOSL-1.0) is a custom open-source license intended for projects created and released by Misticalkai Studios.
This license may be used for software, games, modpacks, modifications, tools, websites, documentation, creative projects, and other original works released as open source by Misticalkai Studios.
Unless a specific project states otherwise, this license applies to the original materials created by Misticalkai Studios that are distributed with the project.
2. PERMISSION
You are permitted to:
• Use the licensed project for personal or commercial purposes.
• View and inspect the project’s source files.
• Modify the project’s original source files.
• Create derivative works based on the project.
• Fork the project and develop your own version.
• Distribute original or modified versions of the project.
• Include appropriately licensed portions of the project in other projects.
These permissions are granted provided that the terms of this license and all applicable third-party licenses are followed.
3. THIRD-PARTY CONTENT
Misticalkai Studios projects may contain or depend upon software, libraries, assets, media, services, or other content created by third parties.
Third-party content is NOT covered by MSOSL-1.0 unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Each third-party component remains subject to its own license, terms, and conditions.
Misticalkai Studios does not claim ownership of third-party software, assets, trademarks, logos, names, or other intellectual property.
Users and redistributors are responsible for reviewing and complying with the licenses and terms applicable to third-party content.
4. PAID FEATURES AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
A project released under this license may include or interact with third-party software or services that provide optional paid features, subscriptions, cosmetics, products, or other monetized functionality.
Any such paid features are controlled by the respective third-party provider.
Misticalkai Studios does not own, operate, control, or guarantee third-party paid features, transactions, subscriptions, refunds, or services.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, the project itself is provided without a mandatory purchase requirement.
5. ATTRIBUTION
When redistributing the project or a substantial portion of its original materials, you must retain reasonable attribution to Misticalkai Studios and Misticalkai as the original creator.
You may not remove existing copyright notices or license notices from the original project.
6. NO AFFILIATION OR ENDORSEMENT
Use, modification, or redistribution of a project under MSOSL-1.0 does not grant permission to imply that Misticalkai Studios or Misticalkai endorses, sponsors, or officially supports your modified or derivative project.
You may not falsely represent an unofficial modification, fork, or derivative work as an official Misticalkai Studios release.
The names Misticalkai Studios and Misticalkai, along with associated logos, branding, and trademarks, are not automatically licensed for use under MSOSL-1.0.
7. MINECRAFT AND OTHER THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS
When a Misticalkai Studios project is created for or interacts with a third-party platform, that platform and its intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.
For example, projects made for Minecraft are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to Mojang Studios or Microsoft unless explicitly stated otherwise.
8. NO WARRANTY
The project is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
Misticalkai Studios does not guarantee that the project will:
• Function on every device or system.
• Remain compatible with future software or platform updates.
• Be free of bugs, errors, crashes, or security issues.
• Prevent data loss, corruption, or other technical problems.
• Remain compatible with third-party software or services.
• Meet every user’s individual requirements.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Misticalkai Studios and Misticalkai shall not be held responsible or liable for damages, losses, expenses, or other issues resulting from the use, installation, modification, or distribution of a project licensed under MSOSL-1.0.
This includes, but is not limited to:
• Data loss or corruption.
• Software or hardware damage.
• Crashes or technical failures.
• Loss of progress or files.
• Compatibility issues.
• Problems caused by third-party software or services.
• Third-party transactions or purchases.
• Account, server, or platform issues.
• Any other direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from use of the project.
You use the project at your own risk.
Nothing in this license is intended to exclude or limit liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
10. REDISTRIBUTION
If you redistribute a project or a modified version of a project licensed under MSOSL-1.0, you must:
1. Include a copy of this license or clearly identify that the project is licensed under MSOSL-1.0.
2. Retain applicable copyright and attribution notices.
3. Comply with all applicable third-party licenses.
4. Clearly identify substantial modifications from the original project.
5. Not falsely claim that your version is an official Misticalkai Studios release.
6. Not use Misticalkai Studios branding to mislead users regarding the origin or endorsement of your project.
11. CONTRIBUTIONS
Contributions to an MSOSL-1.0 project may be accepted by Misticalkai Studios at its discretion.
By submitting a contribution, you grant Misticalkai Studios permission to use, modify, reproduce, distribute, and include that contribution within the project.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, contributors retain ownership of their original contributions.
12. THIRD-PARTY RESPONSIBILITY
Misticalkai Studios is not responsible for the availability, security, policies, licensing, monetization, functionality, updates, actions, or failures of third-party software, services, websites, platforms, or content used by or included with a project.
Issues specifically relating to third-party components should generally be directed to their respective creators or providers.
13. LICENSE CHANGES
Misticalkai Studios may release future versions of this license.
Future versions may contain additional permissions, restrictions, clarifications, or other changes.
Projects may specify which version of MSOSL they are licensed under. Unless otherwise stated, the license version specified with the project applies.

14. OWNERSHIP OF ORIGINAL WORKS
Open-source licensing does not transfer ownership of the original intellectual property from Misticalkai Studios to users or contributors.
Misticalkai Studios retains ownership of its original copyrighted materials, trademarks, branding, and other intellectual property except where those rights are explicitly granted, transferred, or licensed separately.
The purpose of this license is to grant broad permissions to use, modify, and redistribute the applicable project — not to transfer ownership of the underlying intellectual property.
